Vendor Village

Trusted Local Vendors

The Directory — not a grid of logos, but a set of short profiles. The tradespeople the Cove keeps on retainer, written up like the people they are.

A vendor directory is usually a wall of logos. This is not. Every name here is a Neighbor's recommendation, then a Neighbor's second opinion, then a write-up. These are the people who keep the Cove standing, floating, fed, and rooted — vetted by the people who live with their work.

Marine Services

Rumstick Marine & Haulout

The Cove's go-to for haul-out, bottom paint, and the patient art of a winterized engine. Run by a Neighbor's brother-in-law, which is how most good tradesmen arrive.

Shellfish & Provisions

Barrington Bay Oysters

Farm-raised oysters from a lease two coves over, delivered to the dock on Saturdays. Briny, clean, and the reason half the Cove owns a shucking knife.

Outdoor Guides

Neck Kayak Company

Guided paddles around the peninsula and into the salt marsh at high tide. Knows where the herons nest and will not tell you, which is part of the deal.

Home & Hearth

Tillinghast Hardware & Glass

A proper old hardware counter on County Road — screen doors cut to size, storm windows stored for the season, and advice given whether you asked or not.

Landscape

Cove Garden Co.

Native-shoreline plantings and the gentle, stubborn removal of invasives. The Cove's common paths are theirs, and it shows.

Provisions

Wickford Bakehouse

Sourdough and sea-salt rolls, delivered to the common lawn on market mornings. Sells out by ten, which the Cove treats as a scheduling problem rather than a tragedy.
