Charitable Causes
Giving Back, Together
The causes the Cove keeps — open to the public, because the barrier to giving should be nothing at all.

The Cove is a small place, which is exactly why it can be a generous one. These are the causes the Society keeps — chosen by neighbors, funded by anyone who'd like to, and run with the restraint the rest of the magazine tries to keep. You don't have to live here to give. You just have to want the Bay, and the people on it, looked after.
Environment
Bay Shellfish Restoration
A partnership with the Narragansett Bay oyster farmers to seed shell beds off the Cove. The Bay gives us the view; this is how the view gives back.
Neighbors
The Cove Fuel Fund
A quiet fund that keeps the heat on for neighbors between seasons. Contributions are pooled and disbursed without names — the way the Cove prefers its kindness.
Youth
Sailing Scholarships
Summer sailing lessons for every child on the Cove who wants them, boat and buoy included. Last summer, every child wanted them.
