Every neighborhood has a marketplace; most of them are strangers shouting past each other on the internet. Ours is not. The Exchange is a closed loop — only Neighbors may list, only Neighbors may inquire, and every introduction passes through the Society first, with consent. The result is the kind of trading culture where a kayak changes hands over coffee and nobody worries about the strangers at the door.

Privacy, by default

When you express interest in a listing, your message routes to the Society — not directly to the seller. We confirm the request, share your contact only with the other Neighbor's consent, and step back. No public phone numbers, no open inboxes, no listings indexed by the wider web. The Cove keeps its own counsel.
